One of the types of dragons were Keto (such as the the Aithiopios Ketos).  Ketos were sea dragons.   Some of the sea monsters such as the Skolopendra (the largest of the goddess Keto's children) was not a giant sea monster but not a sea dragon and was thus only catagorized as Ketea.  Ketea were creatures of the deep usually featured in myths of a sacrificial princess rescued by a hero.  The Ketea were nearly if not exclusively the offspring of the Drakaina Sea-Goddess Keto (Not to be confused with the Okeanid of Nereid of the same name).
