Dionysos battles the Gigante Eurytos. The god, crowned with a wreath of leaves, and with a small panther sitting on his arm, leaps upon the fallen giant Eurytos with his spear. The giant lies prone trapped in the coils of serpent (presumably summoned to attack him by the god).

Eurytos was one of the Gigantes who fought against the gods in The Giant War. Eurytos was killed by the youngest of the Olympians, Dionysos.  In addition to being on pottery, Eurytos is mentioned in Pseudo-Apollodorus', Bibliotheca 1. 37.
