Fanart of the Labyrinth

The Labyrinth (Greek λαβύρινθος) was a very complex, elaborate maze designed and built by the renowned inventor Daedalus for King Minos of Crete at Knossos. Its function was to hold the Minotaur eventually killed by the hero Theseus. Daedalus had so cunningly made the Labyrinth that he could barely escape it after he built it. Every year 14 Athenian Teenagers (7 males and 7 females) were shipped to Krete to be eaten by The Minotaur.
