Oceanides

Oceanids

An Oceanid is qualified as one of the 3.000 daughters who were the daughters of Oceanus and Tethys. Some of the eldest of these daughters were marked among the Titans, some such as Doris became transformed into Goddesses. Some of the younger Oceanides joined Artemis' hunting party. At least one of the Oceanides was a lover of Herakles.
